Fire Retard KK is a highly effective semi-durable organic flame retardant.  It is nontoxic, not hygroscopic, rust inhibiting and will not cause color change with most dyestuffs.

      Fire Retard KK is suitable for use on all types of cotton or rayon fabrics including those that have synthetic fibers present, such as polyester.  The product was originally designed for use on drapery and decorative fabrics including those fabrics composed of cotton and cotton/polyester which require a flame retardant topical finish, non-rusting,    and durable to dry cleaning.

     Fire Retard KK is normally padded from 25% to 35% solutions, however it can also be sprayed on as received.  In pad applications, a 70% to 100% wet pick-up should be attempted on weight of goods.  Spray applications require 2.5 pounds( # Kilograms) for each 10 pounds (# Kilograms) of fabric treated.

     Actual use concentration will vary with equipment, fabric, and specific test method.
