      Cationic Softener Base

    Amide 03500  is recommended for most pad applications and will be effective in exhaust dyeing machines.  Stable emulsions of  Amide 03500  can be made by preparing a solution at a pH 5.0 with acetic acid, mixing at 180F° (82 C°) until uniform and cooling to 104F° (40C°).  Initial usage level of   should be o.2 to o.4% owg.  Actual usage level of dependent of the fabric, desired hand, and effect of other chemicals and conditions found in a specific printing operation.  Production trials should determine actual usage levels.
